Applying as a Guest Student for the Clinical Year Program
With the exception of the preclinical fundamental courses and the Clinical Year courses, Guest students applying to the Clinical Year Program must complete all coursework required for the MLS degree from their home college/university prior to the beginning of the Clinical Year each Fall Semester.
A letter from the home college/university, stating that all coursework has been completed is required before guest students can register for Clinical Year classes.

All Clinical Year Program guest students must complete the following pre-clinical fundamental courses at the Berrien Springs campus, the summer prior to the beginning of the Clinical Year.
If equivalent courses were previously taken, these requirements can possibly be waived. Contact the Program Director to request an evaluation of course equivalency.

Application Process

The Clinical Year application should be submitted during Fall Semester of the Junior (third) year and no later than January 31 of the year an applicant is planning to begin the Program. (e.g. If planning to begin the Clinical Year in Fall 2017, the application is due on January 31, 2017).

Guest students MUST also apply to Andrews University as Transfer/Adult Student.

The MLS Admissions Committee typically meets in early March. Applicants are notified of the Committee’s decision shortly thereafter.
